TDC believes that disabled people are best placed to deliver training in the field of disability. Professional trainers with first hand experience of impairment issues deliver all our courses. The promotion of the ‘Social Model’ of disability is central to ALL of our training and the use of video; role-play, group work, discussion and the sharing of experience are some of the techniques employed.
TDC is lead by Rick Townson. Rick has a Post Graduate Diploma in Accessibility and Inclusive Design along with over 40 years of personal experience of disability. He has also been involved in disability issues for many years.
From our base in the Borders, TDC operate throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
